FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ABC-CCRA Announces Its Largest Program Ever with the
2021 Industry-Leading Premier Global Hotel Program
Offering More Hotels, More Savings, More Amenities
BOCA RATON, Fla. (June 10, 2021) With the travel industry reeling from the impacts of the Covid pandemic, the 2021 negotiation environment was very challenging. Hotel companies had to make some tough choices on which consortia players they would partner with given significantly reduced revenues. Because of ABC’s proven track record of growth and a highly compelling value proposition, combined with the largest agency network covering all traveler audiences (corporate, leisure and CTDs), many hotels opted to only work with ABC on an exclusive or semi-exclusive basis. Some hotel chains choose to expand their level of participation with ABC•CCRA, including adding most or all their properties into the program.
As a result of these dynamics the 2021 ABC•CCRA Premier Global Hotel Program is the broadest and deepest program in our history and the largest hotel consortia program in the industry, providing an unparalleled link between 53,000+ hotels worldwide and travel professionals including leisure agencies, travel management companies and corporate travel departments.
After joining forces last year with ABC’s acquisition of CCRA, ABC•CCRA now offers travel professionals the most differentiated traveler-centric content available. This eliminates the need for travel professionals to belong to multiple consortia programs, enabling them to simplify their rate-loading requirements, content displays and agent training. For hotel partners, the 2021 program provides an unprecedented reach to both corporate and leisure travelers and agencies around the world with a marketing database of over 70,000 corporate and leisure agents.
“Even as our industry faced the difficulties of the global Covid-19 pandemic, ABC and CCRA have remained focused on providing the most powerful and diverse hotel program for travel professionals,” said Eric Altschul, CEO of ABC Global Services. “Now, as we stand at the cusp of strong demand recovery around the world, we are ready to fulfill that demand by providing travel professionals with access to the largest and most diverse portfolio that will meet any corporate or leisure client’s needs.”
The scope of the 2021 program includes properties in more than 10,000 cities in 185 countries, with over a third of the portfolio outside of the United States and Canada. The program covers hundreds of hotel brands and chains, across every hotel-tier from luxury hotels and resorts, full-service, limited-service to economy properties and extended stay properties. New this year is ABC•CCRA’s vacation rental offering which includes access to more than 175,000 professionally managed homes and villas around the world.
Beyond its broad access to global properties, this years’ program provides significant value to travel professionals and their traveling clients. Nearly 30,000 hotels in the program provide discounts as high as 40 percent off best-available rate pricing. 75% of the hotels in the program include free Wi-Fi within the rates, and nearly half include free breakfast, and one in six properties include early check-in and/or late check-out as an additional benefit. All rates in the ABC•CCRA program offer guaranteed commissions.
In addition, the program includes Premier Privileges corporate VIP program, a collection of 1,300 high-end properties offering special amenities for travelers, including breakfast, room upgrades, and Wi-Fi.
In tandem with the ABC•CCRA International Air Program, the 2021 Hotel Program ensures ABC•CCRA clients can now access the largest, most robust air and hotel offerings around the world, enabling agencies to maximize their margins and their clients to maximize savings during the travel industry rebound. ABC•CCRA is also supporting clients with its 24/7 Call Center Solutions, that provides agencies with after-hours traveler’s assistance, helping them maintain full servicing levels and client satisfaction.
