POSITION SUMMARY

As a Marketing Coordinator at ABC Global Services, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating marketing communication efforts — supporting the team in the execution of marketing campaigns, collateral distribution, project planning, and trade show and event support.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual that is highly organized and detail-oriented who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful and possess excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Campaign Management and Execution

  • Collaborate to implement comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Schedule, and execute daily email marketing campaigns in line with the master marketing calendar.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs).

Content Creation and Management

  • Utilize email marketing software to craft and send HTML emails, applying best practices in design and content to enhance user engagement.
  • Assist in creating engaging marketing and sales materials, including but not limited to print, digital content, presentations, and promotional merchandise, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers in the execution of marketing initiatives as required.
  • Regularly audit and update website content for accuracy, and relevance, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Event Coordination and Support

  • Assist in planning and supporting the execution of corporate events and trade show appearances, from logistics coordination to material preparation, aiming for brand visibility and lead generation.

Inventory and Administrative Support

  • Maintain and manage the inventory of marketing collateral, ensuring materials are up to date and readily available for events and sales needs.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing department, managing schedules, compiling reports, monitoring general correspondence, and overseeing invoice coding and payment processes.

Strategy Improvement and Market Research

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance marketing efficiency, leveraging technology and digital tools where appropriate.
  • Proactively stay informed about marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, incorporating new ideas to keep the marketing strategies innovative and effective.
  • Conduct market research to gather insights and inform marketing strategies, understanding competitor movements and customer needs.

Special Projects and Other Duties

  • Contribute to special projects, ranging from market research studies to pilot marketing campaigns, showcasing initiative and creativity.
  • Assist with the integration of new marketing technologies and platforms, playing a key role in the digital transformation efforts of the marketing department.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support broader organizational objectives, providing marketing expertise and insights.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as needed or directed, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to support the marketing team’s success.

 

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience in marketing/communications, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Monday.com or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience working with email marketing platforms (such as Active Campaign), to create and deploy html emails.
  • Experience with WordPress and updating website content.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with key customers both internal teams and external partners
  • Proven proofreading skills.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Initiative-taker and able to independently move projects forward and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze available metrics and create reports.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Understanding of travel industry, a definite plus, but not required.

 

WORKPLACE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • The position is either 100% remote or 100% in the Boca Raton office.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to travel at least 10%.
  • Should the position holder be located in Florida, there is an expectation that the individual come to the office for meetings or event preparation three to four times per year.

 

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends to meet client, event, or company needs.

  • Frequently communicates with others and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Frequently operates a computer and other electronic equipment.
  • If applicable, the noise level in the office work environment is usually low to moderate, while event environments may be moderate to noisy.
